On April 7th, 2010, three OkaZHI members will start an epic journey, traversing 4,530 KM from Lilongwe, Malawi through Zambia, arriving in Cape Town, South Africa on May 15. OkaZHI's riders are self-financing their own trips so every dollar raised through their trip will go directly to OkaZHI projects in Zambia. The riders will make the journey on Zambikes and are traveling with the experience tour company, Tour d'Afrique. We all see it outside, it is warm and sunny down here in the valley. But all is still good up in the hills and on the trails. The rain last week brought almost 50cms of the white stuff to the local hills and we have been taking it in. Reports are excellent from the XC trails as well. It warmed up a little, but the snow held great and the trails are fast. So don't go detailing that that car just yet and head on up.
